Ashley & Douglas, Charleston

New Year's Eve weddings are always my favorite to shoot. It pretty much guarantees that I will party well on a night that I typically spend on my couch in front of the tube. Ashley and Douglas' Charleston wedding was no exception to this rule. A laid back day + a great group of people to ring in the new year with. Thanks again, Team Red, for bringing me along to document!

Very nice work! I have your blog in my reader and enjoy it a lot.

Question about that first image. At first I thought you'd managed to catch someone else firing off a flash just as you took the shot, but then I realize the light appears to be coming from the lens! The flash itself isn't lit. Is this a reflection? I see a rim light on the bride…that can't be from the reflection. I'm puzzled, what's going on here? :)
