Jess & Mish, Blackberry Farm

Blackberry Farm is quickly becoming one of our favorite Southern venues to photograph weddings. Jess and Mish live in the UK and chose Blackberry because they wanted a Fall wedding weekend that allowed their guests to feel taken care of while giving them an incredible environment to party.
This wedding was styled and planned perfectly by Allison Sprouse of the Modern Hostess & documented remarkably by our own Caleb Chancey.

The Maddox Girls, In Studio

Our friends, the Maddox's, moved to Seattle this past fall for the year. Last week they were back in Birmingham and I convinced them to bring their girls to the studio for a quick session. These are my favorites that I captured in my Leica M6 on Kodak 400CN.

Simone and Mark, NYC Evening Session

While in New York over Christmas I photographed Simone and Mark. They live in NYC and wanted their engagement photos to be taken in the evening around the city. After meeting for a couple drinks we walked the streets of Soho and later took the subway over to the Brooklyn Bridge. I love any session where the only film I bring is high speed black and white.
Enjoy.

Mia and Christian, Baltimore

It recently was brought to my attention that I never blogged one of my favorite weddings of 2009, Mia & Christian. The wedding took place on the grounds of the beautiful Belmont Conference Center outside of Baltimore. We had the privilege of staying on the property with the other guests, which made for an intimate shooting environment. Mia owns the bridal boutique Garnish and put her own experience to work in the designing and styling of her own wedding. Mia's friend Katie, of Petal and Print, provided all the print design for the wedding.

I'm thankful that Mia and Christian chose me to document their wedding and I'm proud to call them friends.

Enjoy.
